How to Earn Your First $1,000 as a Freelance Writer (Even if You’re Brand New)

Understand this: The quicker you get to work, the quicker you get paid! And the faster you can get the work done, the more valuable you become.

Do you know what feels great? Earning that first big chunk of profit as a professional freelance writer. It makes you feel like you made the right career choice — like finally saying goodbye to your boring 9-to-5, taking that risk you’ve been resisting, and making that first step towards your dreams was the best thing you could have ever done.

However, if you are starting, the excitement and enthusiasm may still be there, but it could also feel like that glorious day — when you can finally say that you have achieved your writing dream — is still too far off to feed or fuel the belief. The fact of the matter is, however, that belief is what will put you on the trajectory towards that glorious day.

If you’re like me, when you first started hearing about being a freelance writer, you were probably introduced to “content mills” and bidding sites. This is precisely where I started when I first went to work, building the foundation of my freelance writing business.
