Good morning Carol,

Thank you for taking the time to read this piece, it really means a lot.

You have made several good points. You are right, consistency is key. It is all about being committed to that which you love. You see, just as I made reference to Michael Jordan in the piece, he committed to the game of basketball and stayed consistent with practicing every day to get better at his craft.

Personally, I would disagree with the quantity over quality idea. You see, even if you were churning out two articles a day, everyday — if they consist of poor quality — it wouldn’t matter how many articles you put out there, you still are not going to ever see any positive results from it.

Now, with that said, you can never get better at writing without writing, which brings us back to being consistent. In other words, I would suggest and encourage other writers to shoot to write quantities of quality articles, and to stay consistent — it truly is the only way to improve and experience real progress. So, you are right one hundred percent, action is required above all else.

And I will say this, it is good to learn other digital marketing skillsets, such as SEO, but don’t ever lose sight of your first love — writing. All those other skillsets you develop may help you to get more eye balls on your writing, but they won’t help you to be a better writer.

Just keep writing because it brings you joy, and remember what Mr. Miyagi said, “Man who work for passion, always richer than man who work for money.”

Thanks again! I look forward to reading your next article.
