Let me ask you a question: What does going to the next level in your writing business mean for you? Does it mean being able to hire someone or bring on a new member to your team? Does it mean being able to take on five new clients a month? I want you to actually take some time to think about this.
Now, I’ll be honest with you, I am not a big fan of the concept of going to the “next level.” In fact, to be honest, I believe levels are only one of the variables within the equation of success (or what I refer to as “pillars” in my new book project).
With that said, you don’t hear a lot of talk about going to a new dimension. Now, that is a bit outside the scope of this article, but for now, I just want you to understand that skills (which we will talk more about below) are the building blocks to moving up the levels in your writing business.
