I’ve been considering writing an article about how I make money online, but I’ve been hesitant to do so because I wasn’t sure how it may be received.
The truth is, much has changed since 2014 when I started this journey of being a freelance writer — solo-preneur.
I still do a lot of freelance writing for various publications, but I do see myself doing a lot more business coaching lately.
With that said, it is NO LONGER about how I make money … it is about how my company makes money … and how my employees and independent contractors (freelancers) make money.
My team at William Ballard & Associates, LLC, has grown. Together, we bring in more revenue than nine years ago, but we also have higher expenses.
For today though, we will skip the expenses side of our business and give our full attention and focus on incoming cash. Here is where the majority of our revenue comes from…

For a while, I resisted growing the client side of the business because I was going at it solo, but now I am enjoying it more than ever.
